SLA MEMBERS PATRICIA SOLTYSIK, CAMILLA HALL, NANCY LING PERRY
Wanted by the Fbi - Radicals Killed in California Shootout, 1974
0. No Binding. Poster, -- VINTAGE ORIGINAL FBI FLYER #474 dated April 18, 1974 -- Issued for members of the Symbionese Liberation Army, Patricia Soltysik, Camilla Hall and Nancy Ling Perry. Charged with armed bank robbery and murder. Just a month after the FBI poster's release, Soltysik, Hall and Perry were killed in a shootout in California on May 17, 1974. The Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) was an American home-grown revolutionary group that operated in California in mid-1970s-- in March 1973 its leader was career criminal and prison escapee Donald DeFreeze. DeFreeze was radicalized in prison and embraced a loose Marxism as a code for revolution; he escaped from prison and hid out in Patricia Soltysik's house (unknown to the police at this time) and the two became lovers. The SLA gained national notoriety in Nov. 1973 after DeFreeze ordered Patricia Soltysik and Emily Harris to murder Oakland, CA Superintendent of Schools, Marcus Foster. The SLA became more famous for kidnapping newspaper heiress, Patty Hearst, and taking her along to rob a bank. Nancy Ling Perry and Camilla Hall were both deeply involved in radical agitation prior to their involvement with the SLA. All 3 women were in their twenties. Vintage, original 1974 FBI FLYER #474 -- in good condition, wrinkles and staple holes at top left corner & top center, and a very small hole in bottom center. Good.
